Mi Espazio

www.miespazio.pe

An architectural design and construction firm based in Peru, with offices in Arequipa and Lima. The site showcases their portfolio of completed projects and presents eight service lines — including architectural design, renovation, interior design, structural plans, and virtual 3D models — to residential and commercial clients across the country.

Platform

The site runs on WordPress, giving the team full editorial control over portfolio galleries, service descriptions, and client contact forms. The full stack — WordPress and its database — runs inside a Podman container on a Linux VPS, keeping the hosting lightweight and independent of managed cloud platforms.

NGINX handles TLS termination and reverse-proxies traffic into the container. WordPress and its database run as a single Podman pod, making the whole stack portable and easy to maintain without any cloud dependency.

Backups

Automated daily backups cover both the database (a compressed SQL dump) and the uploads directory (project photos, renders, and media). Archives are retained on the VPS and restorable with a single command — guarding against accidental deletions, database corruption, or migration issues.
